About Granny 3

The third game in DVloper’s indie horror series, Granny 3 came out in 2021 for mobile devices and Windows. Like the earlier games, it traps you inside a house with hostile captors, this time both Granny and Grandpa, and gives you five days to get out.

Each time you are caught, a day passes and you wake up again, so a mistake costs you time instead of ending the run outright. To escape, you search the rooms for keys, tools and other items that open the way out, all while staying quiet. Granny reacts to sound, so a dropped object or a careless step can bring her straight to you.

How the web port works

This is an unofficial port credited to crax and hosted on wasm.rip, and it plays right on this page. There is nothing to download and no game files to supply.

Saving isn’t listed for the port, so a run may not survive closing the tab. With five in-game days per attempt, it is worth setting aside enough time to finish an escape in one sitting.

Controls and devices

Although the original was built for phones, this browser port isn’t listed as working on them. Play on a computer with a keyboard and mouse instead. Controllers aren’t supported, and the port’s keys aren’t listed here, so take a moment on the first day to learn how to move, crouch, pick up items and hide.

If you want to play on a phone, the official mobile version from DVloper is the better choice.

Tips

Move slowly and carry only what you need. Noise is your main enemy, and running or dropping things is the fastest way to get caught.

Use your first day to learn the layout. Once you know where the stairs, hiding spots and locked doors are, later attempts go much faster.

When you find an item, think about which lock or puzzle it might belong to before moving on. Granny games reward remembering where you saw something more than searching everything twice.
