PlayGamesInBrowser is a directory of full games you can play in a web browser: fan ports of PC and console classics, remakes, official web editions and games built for the browser from day one. We started it because these games are scattered across GitHub pages, Discord servers and one-page hosts, and many of them stop working without notice.
What makes a listing here different
- We say how each game runs. Every page lists who made the browser version, whether it plays on our site or opens on the developer’s, the controls it uses and the devices it supports. When we play a game ourselves, we add the download size, the load time and the date we checked it.
- We say what a game is. Official release, open-source port, fan remake or unofficial port: each page shows its rights status and who made the browser version.
- We credit developers. Every page links to the people who made the browser version, and our outbound links tell them the visit came from us.
- We fix what breaks. Browser ports move and disappear. Games that stop working are marked as down, and a listing comes down quickly when its rights holder asks.
How we make money
Some pages show ads. Ads never sit next to or on top of a game, never play before a game starts, and never appear in our full-screen player. See our editorial policy for how we choose and describe games.
