About FIFA Street 2

EA Canada developed FIFA Street 2, and EA released it under the EA Sports BIG label at the end of February 2006 in North America, with Europe following in early March. The PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube versions are the same game; the PSP, Nintendo DS and mobile versions were handled by other studios. The version here is the PS2 one, and Cristiano Ronaldo is on the cover.

It is a sequel to FIFA Street and keeps the same idea: small four-a-side games between national teams on tight street pitches, where tricks matter as much as goals. A match ends when one side reaches a target score or the clock runs out. The sequel introduced a “trick stick beat” system and new tricks, and star players have signature skills often named after their nicknames. In the Rule the Streets career, you earn Skill Bills to spend on clothing and rating upgrades and work toward a call-up to your national side. Zico, Carlos Alberto Torres and Abedi Pele can be unlocked as legends, and an in-game radio station presented by Zane Lowe plays artists such as Roots Manuva, Pendulum and Editors.

How it runs in your browser

The browser version is a fan project by Slayoner that runs the PS2 release on snuri00’s runtime, built with WebAssembly and WebGPU. Pressing Play opens fifastreet2.fun in a new tab. The site downloads the game data on its own, so there’s nothing to install and no disc image to find. Click inside the game when it shows up so it begins taking your keys.

The host documents one-on-one matches in private rooms. Choose Play Now, have each player move to a different side, and then each of you confirms a team with your own controls. Saving isn’t listed as a feature, so Rule the Streets progress may not carry over between visits.

Controls and devices

You can play with a keyboard or a game controller. Tricks in FIFA Street 2 rely on a stick, so a controller is the closer match to the PS2 experience. The key layout isn’t listed here; check the host’s page or the game’s options once it loads.

Use a current Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop. Phones aren’t listed as supported, and the host blocks visitors from India, Pakistan, Turkey and some other countries.

Who it’s for

This suits anyone who prefers short, trick-heavy matches to a full eleven-a-side simulation, and players who remember the mid-2000s Street games. A quick match against a friend in a private room is the main draw. For other football and sports games, see our multiplayer list.

Is FIFA Street 2 Free, Safe and Official?

Can I play FIFA Street 2 online with a friend?

Yes. The host documents one-on-one matches in private rooms: choose Play Now, take opposite sides, and each player confirms a team with their own controls.

Is this the official FIFA Street 2?

No. It’s a fan project by Slayoner that runs the PS2 version in a browser. It isn’t made or endorsed by EA Sports or FIFA.

Why won’t FIFA Street 2 open for me?

The host blocks some countries, including India, Pakistan and Turkey. Elsewhere, try a current Chrome or Edge on a computer, since the runtime needs WebAssembly and WebGPU.
