About Battle Stadium D.O.N

Battle Stadium D.O.N is a platform fighter developed by Eighting and Q Entertainment and published by Namco Bandai Games. It came out in Japan in July 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube and was never released elsewhere. The name is built from the three Weekly Shōnen Jump series it brings together: Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Naruto.

Up to four fighters share one of 11 stages. Landing hits knocks orbs out of your opponents, and the player holding most of them can switch into a stronger burst mode, while items appear during the fight as well. There are 20 characters, 12 of them available from the start, among them Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji from One Piece, and Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi from Naruto. The single-player mode runs over five rounds, some with randomly chosen missions, and completing missions earns coins for a slot machine that unlocks more characters, stages and extras.

The version hosted here is the Japanese PS2 release with a fan-made English patch applied, since the game never had an official English version.

How it runs in your browser

Pressing Play opens battlestadium.online in a new tab. Slayoner runs the site on snuri00’s browser runtime, which uses WebAssembly and WebGPU. The game files load automatically, so there is nothing to install and you don’t need an imported copy of the game. A current version of Chrome or Edge is the safe choice.

You can play against computer opponents or online. The host documents private rooms in which every player gets their own set of controls and the game is kept in sync between browsers. Saving isn’t mentioned in the host’s notes, so characters you unlock may not stay unlocked between visits.

The site blocks visitors from some countries, including Pakistan and Turkey.

Controls and devices

You can use a keyboard or a game controller. Click inside the game picture first so the browser passes it your input. A controller is the closer match to the PS2 original, which was designed around a gamepad. The exact key layout isn’t listed here, so check the site or the game’s options before your first match.

Phones and tablets aren’t listed as supported. Use a desktop or laptop.

Who it’s for

It suits fans of the three series who never had a way to play a game that stayed in Japan, and anyone who likes chaotic multi-fighter brawls more than strict one-on-one fighting. For a deeper Dragon Ball fighter, the PS2 versions of Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 are also on the site.
