About Happy Room
Happy Room hands you the keys to a research lab where cutting-edge weaponry is tried out on a cloned human who can absorb absurd amounts of damage. Mana Potion Studios released it for Windows in 2016.
Each session follows a simple loop. You arrange hazards and weapons in the test chamber, trigger them and let the ragdoll physics take over. The harm you cause turns into cash, which buys access to larger, more elaborate gear for the next experiment. Much of the appeal is experimenting with combinations to see what happens.
The whole premise is hurting a test dummy in creative ways, so it’s a better fit for older players than for young kids.
How it runs in your browser
This unofficial port by gurtmuncher plays right on this page, loaded from wasm.rip, a site that hosts fan-made browser ports of PC games. Nothing needs to be installed, and you don’t need to own the game.
It needs a computer. Open it on a phone and you’ll get a “not supported” notice in place of the game, so there’s no point trying it on mobile.
Saving isn’t listed for this version, which means the money and equipment you unlock may not be there when you come back. Plan on longer sessions if you want to reach the bigger items.
Controls and devices
Use a mouse and keyboard on a desktop or laptop. Placing and arranging equipment in a sandbox like this is mostly mouse work, so a real mouse is more comfortable than a trackpad. Controller support isn’t listed, and the specific key bindings aren’t listed here.
If the game doesn’t react to your clicks at first, click once inside the game area so the browser sends your input to it.
Tips
Experiment freely; the game is built around trying things to see what they do. Combining equipment tends to be more interesting than relying on a single item, and noticing which setups pay out the most will speed up your unlocks. Since progress may not be saved, it’s worth deciding early which items you most want to reach.
Is Happy Room Free, Safe and Official?
Is this the official Happy Room?
No. It’s an unofficial fan port by gurtmuncher on wasm.rip, not made or endorsed by Mana Potion Studios.
Why does Happy Room say “not supported” on my phone?
The port only works on computers. On phones you’ll see a “not supported” notice instead of the game, so use a desktop or laptop browser.
Does Happy Room save my unlocks?
Saving isn’t listed for this version, so money and unlocked equipment may be lost when you close the page.
