About PEAK

PEAK is a 2025 climbing game from Team PEAK, a collaboration between Aggro Crab and Landfall, published by Aggro Crab. You play a lost nature scout stranded on a mysterious island, and your only hope of rescue is to climb the mountain at its center.

The climb is the whole game. You head from the beach toward the summit, watching your stamina as you grip and scramble, eating to keep hunger in check and dealing with the weather as it changes. Small mistakes pile up quickly, and a single slip can end a run. The original is designed around co-op, with friends helping each other up the mountain, but it can be played solo too. It suits players who like tense, physical games where progress is earned one handhold at a time.

How it runs in your browser

This is an unofficial fan port by dasher, hosted on wasm.rip, and it plays right here on this page. Nothing needs to be installed.

The browser version has no online play, so the online co-op of the original isn’t available here; you climb on your own. That’s a different experience from the chaotic group runs the game is known for, but it’s a fair way to learn how the mountain works. Progress saving isn’t listed either, so plan on finishing a run in one sitting or starting over next time. The full co-op game is available on Steam.

Controls and devices

Play on a computer with a keyboard and mouse. Phones aren’t supported, and controller support isn’t listed for this port. The host doesn’t publish a key list, so check the game’s own settings or prompts for the climbing and item controls.

Tips

  • Check your stamina before committing to a long stretch of rock. Running dry halfway up a wall is an easy way to fall.
  • Eat when you get the chance. Hunger adds up over a long climb.
  • Watch the weather. Conditions change as you go higher, so take hard sections when they’re on your side.
  • Look for ledges to rest on before a big push. A short pause can be the difference between reaching the next section and starting over.

Is PEAK Free, Safe and Official?

Can I play PEAK co-op in the browser?

No. This port has no online play, so you climb solo. Co-op is part of the official game on Steam.

Is this the official PEAK?

No. It’s an unofficial fan port, not affiliated with Aggro Crab or Landfall, and it may be removed if the rights holder asks.

Does PEAK work on a phone, and does it save?

It’s listed for computers only, and progress saving isn’t listed, so play on a desktop or laptop and plan to finish a run in one go.
